The team at the Healthy Aging Research and Technology Solutions (HARTS) Lab promotes healthy lifestyles by designing and testing programs aimed at helping people move more, sit less, and eat in healthier ways. The HARTS team has a strong commitment to supporting improved health and quality of life among midlife and older adults, low-income individuals, racial/ethnic minorities, and those living in developing countries.
Our research includes 3 main areas:
- Promoting healthful lifestyles through innovative technologies.
- Exploring the potential impacts of the environment on health.
- Exploring the best methods for tailoring and disseminating health programs in the U.S. and abroad.
